There are so many reasons why we have issues with raising children. Perhaps we have abandoned them and given them over to video games, cell phones, electronic pads and television. They can end up not being reached for Jesus Christ because many parents have not invested the time and energy necessary for the personal and spiritual development of their children. In short, they have been allowed to raise themselves and are greatly influenced by the world around them. Not by what we have done, but by what we did not do. We need to make a commitment to stop the Devil and recapture our children's attention by focusing them on the God who created them and the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Focusing them on a future filled with the joy of the Lord that will strengthen them during the difficult times in which we live. Something that will give them a hope and a future.

About the Book
This book will help parents create a nurturing enviornment for Christian growth and assist in the development of dynamic disciples for Jesus Christ while children are still at home. It will also promote family values and activities that will leave a lasting legacy for generations to come.
About the Author
Dr. William Wright is a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ. He is a pastor/teacher who understands the necessity of beginning Christian Discipleship in the home. He has taught at various churches, conferences, and seminars about making disciples, marriage enrichment and church growth.
Dr. Wright is the founding pastor of Emmanuel Bible Fellowship, Dumfries, VA, Chaplain for the Dumfries VA Police Department, President of John 8:32 Ministries and Virginia State Director of Christian Education for the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship of Virginia. He holds a BA in Political Science from Marist College, Poughkeepsie, N.Y., a M.Div. from Andersonville Baptist Seminary, Camilla, Ga. and a PhD in Christian Education from Faith Bible College and Seminary, Temple Hills, Md.
Pastor Wright enjoys spending time with his wife Barbara. He also enjoys watching N.Y. sports teams, training local ministry leaders, and swimming for personal exercise. He and his wife have three children, Charles, Tambra and Starr. They have nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. Dr. Wright is a native of Poughkeepsie, N.Y. He currently resides in Northern Virginia.
