About the Book
“There Is No Other YOU!” uses simple comparisons to encourage readers to celebrate how different we all are. Some will make you laugh while others will make you think. This book encourages conversations between kids and adults and conversations with God. We all need to know how special we are, that we are a gift from God and that he has a perfect plan for us! That includes the adults that may be reading this book to a child. If you have never felt special before, NOW is the time to start! Adults and kids alike will not walk away from this book without thinking about how unique they are. Read these two simple verses. They say it all.
Psalm 139:13-14 “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”
About the Author
Sylvia Foust was born and raised in San Diego, California. As a “preacher’s kid” she had to figure out who she was apart from that identity. After MUCH trial and error, she discovered the beauty of being a child of the King. Watching her grandchildren grow and experience life’s joys and heartaches inspired her to write this book. She hopes that this book will encourage children and the adults who might read to them. She strongly believes that God values each life, has a plan for each of us and that no matter how different we are God loves us. That although we make mistakes God never gives up on us, he never stops loving us, no matter what! Even when we feel alone, God is always there. Nothing can separate us from his love. You are one of a kind.

Sylvia currently resides in Michigan with her husband Tom. She is a wife, mother, grandmother, and a career woman who enjoys writing and creating using a variety of art mediums. She is also known for the glow-in-the-dark bracelets that she hands out with the message “DON’T GIVE UP!” in response to the increase in suicide rates across the country.
