After the day that I stood on Georgia Highway 27/41, in front of the Oak Mountain Estate sign, and cried out to God to “Give Me This Mountain”, I came home and read Joshua 14:12. That says:
“Now therefore, give me this mountain of which the Lord spoke in that day; for you heard in that day how the Anakim were there, and that the cities were great and fortified. It may be that the Lord will be with me, and I shall be able to drive them out as the Lord said,”. (NKJV)
After reading this verse and thinking of my dreams, I said to myself, I am going to be confident, like Caleb, that God will give me this spiritual mountain–which I had been facing for the longest time. I walked with God through many dreams. While I didn’t understand what was happening in my life, I knew that something was controlling my mind.

About the Book
“Give Me This Mountain” describes the journey of a woman called to “Preach the New Jerusalem” in a Baptist church. The journey spanned 44 years. It tells of the doctrines, beliefs, and practices within the church that impact the roles and functions of women. The challenges we overcome and lessons learned along the way build and strengthen one’s faith in Jesus Christ. As long as one has undeniable faith and trust in Jesus Christ, no mountain is too high to reach the summit. We become successful in our endeavors through Jesus Christ, who teaches the way. One can reach her/his destiny regardless of the obstacles or barriers placed along the way if you “Study”, “Pray” and “Wait” on the Lord.

M. S. Degree in Business Education from Tennessee State University
A retired Educator who taught business education courses in high school for over 30 years.
She is the founder of “We Care Ministry” that serve the “least,” the “lost,” the “last,” and the “leftover”.
