How is it possible that David could be so forgiving after all Saul had done: relentless in his pursuit and persecution of David, the murder of the priests at the temple in Nob, His attempt on David’s life at court when he threw a javelin at David, and many other attempts on his life. Remember David is the “man after God’s own heart. He knew how to forgive. In Psalm 103:12 he said “as far as the east is from west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.” David was not perfect, but he was forgiven and he chose to forgive. …. As for me, I’m like David, not perfect; far, far from it, but forgiven. And I have chosen to forgive what I once thought was unforgivable.

About the Book
Tommie McBrayer is a child of God who has learned throughout her nearly eighty years of living that God is always faithful, and she can depend on him in every circumstance. More than forty years ago, she began a study of David’s life; she’s encouraged and uplifted when reading about the way David responded to God’s leadership and always praised him, even in the most dangerous and difficult times.

About the Author
Tommie McBrayer is a senior adult woman who has spent most of her life working in Christian organizations with and for several prominent religious teachers and educators. She has taught Bible study classes for adults for more than forty years. McBrayer is a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She has been married to her husband for more than sixty years.
