About the Book
This story is about a young child who is cared for by her grandmother in her mid-forties. The start of the day is filled with new ideas, fun activities and adventure the moment the child arrives. Chloe is a brilliant 3-year old child filled with lots of energy, excitement and surprises, grandma may not be ready for. The idea of a lemon-aid stand steers grandma in another direction. The thought of taking a small break seems to evaporate quickly. But the love between the two of them grows more and more each day. And before you know it! The day is gone and a new day has begun. Being a parent and grandparent is a blessing and a great reward from God.
About the Author
Lucy is a native of Colorado and married to her wonderful husband Clint for 29 years. She is a mother of 5 adult children and eight grandchildren. Besides writing children’s books, Lucy enjoys time with God, family and friends. She loves to crochet, draw, paint and sew. She enjoys living in Colorado where she and her husband Clint attend a wonderful church called Brave Church. They enjoy the fellowship and friendship that they have there.
