If there is a God Who created this universe, then He and only He has the right to establish the rules and principles by which His universe operates. If He does have such rules and principles, and if He expects us, His created beings, to fulfill some purpose in His universe, then it would be unfair if He did not clearly communicate those rules and principles to us. Fortunately, that is exactly what He has done. He has given us the Bible! You can think of the Bible as God’s instruction manual for life.
