About the Book
This book is about a little school on the prairie of Colorado in the 1930’s. This is Melody Larkin’s first teaching assignment and she not only finds her true calling of being a teacher, but also meets the love of her life.
About the Author
The author is from another era. As a great-grandmother she writes about simpler times in the United States. Her focus is remembering life before the cell phone, television, the internet, and world travel. Her first school years were spent in a one room school. She remembers the “GOOD OLD DAYS” and writes about life then.
