I want to start off with a question. What political branch is guaranteed to subject a free people into slavery? By its very nature it has to. It's a full time professional legislature. Whether it be the federal, or State, or local law makers. Let me give you an analogy. If you were to throw a frog into a boiling pot of water the frog would jump out. He knows he is in hot water and acts to save himself. But take that same frog and that same pot but place cool water in it, the frog will stay put when placed inside because he feels safe. Then you gradually increase the temperature just a few degrees. The frog acclimates to the new temperature and still feels safe. Again you turn up the temperature and again the frog acclimates to the new temperature and feels safe. You keep on doing this until you finally boil the frog alive all the time the frog felt safe. This is the same with a free people and a full time professional legislature. By their very nature they have to make laws to justify their existence. With each new law they enact they strip away a little more of our rights and freedom. And the people acclimate. In time the free people become slaves of the state, while all the time they felt safe.
