Many of you have experienced some form of identity (personal information) theft. It may have been an unauthorized use of your credit card. This is probably the most common type of identity theft. More than likely, your credit card company discovered the possibility of the unauthorized use of the credit card and contacted you to verify/decline the charges. The credit card company will send a new credit card and you are not liable for the unauthorized changes. The result is that you may have been inconvenienced, but you probably suffered little or no financial loss.
If you suffered a more devastating financial loss, then its affects will last considerably longer than a credit card misuse described above. The loss can result in losing your retirement plans, your home, your children’s college plans, or maybe even your marriage. This type of financial loss can make some people want to give up on life. Others have experienced this type of devastating loss and have successfully recovered some, if not all, of what was lost.
What if you lost more than your finances? Regardless of how important finances are, your personal information leading to your finances and possessions is not what defines who you are. Your personal information is not your true identity. Your True Identity is not just the legal, personal, or financial information about you. Neither is your identity the sum total of your possessions. What if your character was ruined by a malicious, slanderous, or evil unsubstantiated report? What if you were mistaken for a criminal and you could do absolutely nothing to correct the mistake, no matter how much you tried? You might lose not only all of your finances, but you could also lose any ability to ever recover from the financial loss because you could no longer prove you are the person you claim to be. As a result, you may come to realize that the financial loss is now your secondary priority, and you need to concentrate on restoring your identity, integrity, character, or reputation. Regaining your identity, integrity, character, or reputation will be the first step if you are to regain any of the material/financial loss.
But, worse still, what if your entire life and your future were ruined by an abuser or an evil influence? Your True identity, your potential, your goals and aspirations, your plans for your life, and other dreams for your happiness and success, can all be taken away by an abuser or an evil influence and you may no longer have any reason to live. Your life has changed from typical (normal?) to abnormal, from hopeful to pessimistic, from civil to cynical, from encouraged to depressed, from optimistic to miserable. You might have been aspiring, but now you are unmotivated. You become afraid, easily upset, or emotionally unsteady. Your desires might become reckless, irresponsible, or even out of control, because you now have nothing else to lose.
Nothing, short of losing your life, is worse than losing your True Identity. The affects are long lasting, if not totaling devastating, and almost impossible to overcome.
Most, if not all of you, have been the target of True Identity Theft. This book will define Identity Theft and True Identity Theft. You will discover the identify of the adversary (thief) who perpetuates the True Identity Theft and the tactics that the adversary uses in attempting to steal your True Identity. You will also be introduced to The Redeemer who rescues you, and The Comforter who helps you. There is additional information dealing with Atheists and Freethinkers so that you are aware of those who have been deceived by the adversary.
