By now, it is afternoon, and the lad has heard the man speak. He is so interested that he has forgotten his lunch. Just as he thinks about his stomach, a man comes up behind him and asks what his lunch is.
Startled, he looks at this stranger and asks who he is.
The man replies, “Andrew. The Master has need of your lunch.”
Quickly, he hands Andrew his lunch and follows him down to the man, whom he called Master. As he watches, the Master takes the bread and fish and blesses them, and then they begin to multiply right from his hands. The men, who seem to be his group, begin serving fish and loaves across the sea of people who had been advised to sit down in groups. Quickly, each man comes to the Master, and with a basket each filled, they go out and return for more until every man, woman, and child has been fed. The Master looks at the lad, and in turn, the boy is speechless. He is overwhelmed by what he has witnessed and knows in his spirit that this is no ordinary man.
