Introduction
How many of us are going through struggles that God never intended for us to live in? This is the place where we find the arm of God’s mercy reaching out to us to deliver us from our own man made mess that has led us astray.
The struggle I feel when I am running from God’s will and trying to make it on my own strength. I don’t know why I keep doing what I think is best when I know that in God’s will there is freedom, peace, joy, provision, and the Father’s open arms. How many times I have stumbled my way instead of turning back to God’s way. When will I learn that my way is not the best way? Can you say I am ready to live beyond what I can do for my own life?
It is at that pivotal point, some might call it the place of surrender, others may refer to it as our own “Gethsemane” that it all changes. The place of surrender where we look back and recognize that we missed the mark of the call along the side of the road somewhere and we choose to return to the path we walked away from.
We have a choice to either accept the call by obeying God or choose to disobey and live our own lives without doing the will of God. Obedience is about doing what you know God called you to do. It is when we give up our will and plans that we find the freedom to live the life that God has chosen for us.
This book encourages us to live a life of obedience to the Lord regarding the calling of God placed on our lives. There are storms in our lives that are caused by our own disobedience. It is in the drowning of our own designed plans that God changes the direction of our lives and journey.
Where is God calling you to? Answer the call and you will see God in a new light, you will experience the transformation that only God can bring. In other words, choosing between two ways has never been easy, but many have done it. The Patriarchs of our faith who have gone before us, even though they stumbled at times, but quickly learned that the road best traveled is the road that God has put you on.
You are in for an adventure where God is calling you to a new place in Him, a place where the Spirit of God leads you along the plans that God has chosen for your life. I am so excited for your journey and for what God is going to do in your life!

About the Book
This book is a must read for every Christian. It is God calling us back to the place He created us to be. Some of us seem to be running from the place that God has for us. It is in the place of surrender that we find the life that God intended us to have. We are called to make an impact in this generation as we allow God to lead our lives. Some of us keep striving to do it when our own, doing it our own way. When will you stop pursuing your own life and allow God show you the life that He has chosen for you? Oh Jonah generation, stop running and return to the place He is calling you to!

Lara Da Cruz is a preacher called as a voice to this generation to know God for themselves. She is a missionary with a heart to save the lost and speak the truth of God’s Word.
