INTRODUCTION
When I was little, just like you, I had heard about God, Jesus, and the Holy
Spirit, but I really did not know them. When you meet someone and care
about them, you take time to talk with them, understand them, know what
he likes and what he doesn’t. If you are reading these lines at this time it
may be for two options. One of them is that you want to know more about
God, and the other may be that you have been given this book and made
you curious and now you are reading it. Whatever your reason, I want to tell
you that you are doing the right thing. How much would I give to really get
to know Him when I was a child? I Can imagine myself at the age of nine.
I would say, “Hey little girl, seek God with ALL your heart because He will
help you walk in the plan and purpose for which you were created. It will be
the best thing that happens to you in life.” Believe me it would be great!
You are at that perfect age to know God in a real way, not as a God from
afar who is in heaven and it is impossible to contact Him. You can know Him
as your Dad. He wants to be close to us and does not want us to settle for
living an ordinary life but an EXTRAORDINARY. You are a son or daughter
of God, it was about time someone told you in case you did not know, and
you were created in a perfect, real and genuine way to fulfill a purpose here
on earth.
With this journal and devotional, you will gradually get to know God in three ways:
• Like Jesus, our example to follow.
• As a loving, protective Father who corrects us for our good.
• As our best friend, who is the Holy Spirit of God.

About the Book
Who wouldn’t like to have a motivating and straightforward way to seek God every day? Elohim Journal and Devotional is not just a journal. Still, it is a 60-day devotional in which the child can know Jesus as his example to follow, God as a Loving Father, and the Holy Spirit as our best friend. Each day includes a Bible study according to the topic we are reading. Thus we are entering the great adventures that we find in the Bible. Not only that, but it contains a daily plan so that each child is motivated to set goals and build a godly character in them.
About the Author
Lisbeth Cabrera Barroso is a daughter, mother, a dentist by profession, and has been a children’s teacher at her local church for four years. Her ardent passion is to raise children and young people with a Child of God’s identity, with values and a desire to bring God’s kingdom to this generation.
