You will experience trials and conflict. Things will not always be easy. “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all. “ (Psalms 34:19 NKJV) We will go through things in life but we must know that we are doing just that—going through. We cannot stop living when trouble rears its head. We must keep going, keep living. As long as we do not quit, we will get through it. There is nothing that we encounter in life that takes God by surprise. He wants us to talk with him. Proverbs 3:5-6(NKJV) says it best: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” Understand that as you are going through, there may be opportunities to GROW through. Begin asking, “Lord, what would you have me to learn while I’m in this situation?” As yourself, “Self, what can I learn about me while going through this situation?” You will find that, if you look at the situation, as a growth opportunity, good will come out of it.
