Everything heaven contains has already been lavished upon us as a love gift from our wonderful heavenly Father, the Father of our Lord Jesus—all because he sees us wrapped into Christ. This is why we celebrate him with all our hearts!
And he chose us to be his very own, joining us to himself even before he laid the foundation of the universe! Because of his great love, he ordained us as one with Christ from the beginning, so that we would be seen as holy in his eyes with an unstained innocence.
For it was always in his perfect plan to adopt us as his delightful children, so that his tremendous grace that cascades over us would bring him glory—for the same love he has for his Beloved One, Jesus, he has for us!

We close this year of devotions with this amazing passage written by the Apostle Paul. He summed up the extravagant love gift of Father God in the person of Jesus Christ.
As a follower of Christ, you are wrapped up in His life and glory. All the character of Christ has been deposited within your spirit to equip you to live in the very glory of Jesus Himself.
God planned for you to be complete in Christ when He laid the foundations of all creation. He had you in His mind and heart from the very beginning of time. Your life is not an accident, but a thoughtful and valuable part of His eternal plan. He has always planned for you to be a vital part of His holy family.
You are filled with a great capacity to bring Father God glory throughout your life. He loves you with the same love He has for Christ. You are His gift to Himself!
Meditation:
Let this scripture from Ephesians sink down into your heart and soul. Meditate on it often.

About the Author
Angela Brown is an avid lover of God’s Word. She loves interceding in prayer and sharing her faith through writing and speaking. One of her greatest joys is encouraging others to thrive in their creative gifting. She is also the author of two short devotional books and a study book of Psalm 110. Angela and her husband have been married 53 years and reside in Georgia close to their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
