The 7 Blessings of the Lamb (Rev 5:13-14;)
And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.
Every knee shall bow, and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord. They declare the attributes of the lamb in verse 13. Each attribute pertains to one of the four beasts around the throne.
Blessing belongs to men and was given by God. He had to be born in the form of a man in order to bring blessing to men.
Honor is always afforded to the king, which the lion represents. Jesus receives all honor in heaven, on earth, and under the earth as the King of kings and Lord of lords. We receive this same honor once we are adopted into his royal family.
Glory speaks of the office of the most high God, represented as the eagle. Jesus was God himself, even though he came to the earth in the form of a man.
Power is the chief attribute of the calf, because it is a beast of burden. He was strong enough to take the yoke of sin and death upon himself in order to remove them from the earth.
