It’s Too Much
A woman was working a job she wasn't happy with when I got a phone call from a government job! That day was oh great and the pay was really good. Honestly she wanted to give week notice, she really was ready to leave the job that day but the government job said training for the job started in one week. So, she had to give a 1 week notice even though her Integrity said it's not right.
She started training and she loved the trainer's especially the one who always told stories about her children. She always had the class laughing. The woman was catching on to the job really well. Also, she met one of her best friends. She loved her she always made her smile.
Then graduation time came. This was bittersweet. She was going to miss her classmates from training, but she was excited about going to her new department. The department that she went to a very fast-paced department with a lot of customer contact. The workers were seasoned and very nice and helpful to her.
The job was just to stressful for her. She didn't like confrontation and she realize this is a good job however she did not want to be miserable every day she went to work. So she let her supervisor know that she wanted to talk to her regarding changing to a less stressful department with less customer contact.
The supervisor seem nice however, she believe the light in her was too bright for her supervisor. She tried to make her day terrible every day with no remorse.
She tried to figure out why but then she just knew that she needed to pray to God to fix the situation. She called her into her office every other day. She felt it was harassment in her eyes. She would sit in her car everyday and cried before she went to work because she did not know what that day would bring.
She was not the type of person who just quits a job because the going gets tough. She had to praise God in the middle so she can continue to work.
One day she got a phone call from her sister that her father who she was very close to had a heart attack and he was in a coma. She and her father grew close after her mother passed away from cancer twenty years prior. She left work to be with her father and her family. Her supervisor kept stating that she needed something from the hospital to verify that her father was in the hospital. Of course, she was not leaving her father!
Moreover, the nurse kept faxing the documents to fax number that her supervisor had given her but she kept saying she did not receive it. The nurse even showed her the fax receipt showing the fax went through. hmmm… she was not leaving her father, but she didn't want her job to be in Jeopardy.
So, a good friend told her she would come to her house before she went to work and hand the documents to her supervisor hand. So, she couldn't say that she didn't get it her son was also getting married and she was helping plan the wedding that was also an exciting time for her but 4 days before her son's wedding was her father's funeral. Yes her father passed away.
This was another very hard time in her life but she was so happy for her son, but still so sad regarding her father's passing. She went back to work and you would think that her supervisor would ease up knowing that she just lost her father but no, it seems like the furnace was turned up seven times hotter.
She thank God for her good friend she met in training. She would text her when things got too bad and she just needed a shoulder to cry on.
She went home that day and that night she heard a burst of water. The water heater busted the water was everywhere! She just wanted to throw myself on the floor and kick her feet and cry! She just prayed and prayed and prayed.
When you think things couldn't get worse, she had a co-signed for a car for a family member the motor went out and they stopped paying the payments without her knowledge.
Then she got a certified letter from the company they were garnishing her pay check. She thank God for her husband. He has such a calm demeanor. He just kept saying, “It is going to be okay babe. We'll get through this together.”
She would wake up in the middle of the night crying and praying to God. Please take this cup from me. It's too much! God will never put more on you than you can bear. She was off work for a minor surgery and her best friend called her on the phone. She said they're closing the office down.
All she can say is God you heard me not only that she was moved from that department but the whole office closed down! She moved to a new department and the supervisor was so sweet and helpful she had no issues with her but before she left the old apartment, the supervisor said God told her to leave her alone. She had to forgive her in her heart because the enemy was just using her. Enemy try to give her a breakdown…
But God!
Isaiah 41:10
Do not fear, for the Lord is with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will hold you up with my righteous right hand.
