Let's take a more in-depth look at God. If you wanted to really get to know and form an ideal or opinion about someone where would you tend to go? Of course--to his natural habitat. Any man or woman who doesn't research the truth about life is very shallow to say the least. I've heard of it being called "living by the seat of your pants." I'm about to take you to the most extreme and complex place that there is: His private dwelling. I am about to widen your horizons of thought and open up your soul, and surgically plant the truth within you or your "Inner Man" so to speak. This knowledge not only gives you food for thought, but it also enhances your thought process and makes you more accountable for your actions. Where I'm about to take you is not just a home, but also a different realm of existence where He resides: the 5D. This is far more than any fictional place that any man could imagine. The beauty of it is that you will find that God has divine purpose for everything that exists. Now grant you, we don't have to die to get there, but must be chosen. Upon going there, you will be blown away: it is in the spiritual realm that is just as real as anything that we know in the flesh. John gives the most important account of God and His heavenly home. In Revelations: 4 NKJV, John speaks of his dream in which God gave him a message and a peak into heaven.
The first thing we notice is that John sees an open door. Note that John is about to see the full complete expression of who and what God is. He is the unseen King and Creator of all things. His home is heaven; this home is a castle without walls. Unlike any Earthly King, He has created all that is around and about Him. No one can say that they have created anything out of nothing, but Him. Man can take the raw material that God has created; formulate it into something, yet man has no control of it from that point. Man does not control the physics of everything existing in life as God does. I know that is a hard pill for all great men to swallow. Only a truly great person can depend on God and then sit back, and watch God weave His magical glory into their life. To even begin to step back and watch God do the impossible for you, you have to have faith that comes from getting to know Him. The type of faith that I am talking about is received by a long drawn out process. This process is one that is oh-so very special, and changes life, as you know it. When you truly begin this process, you know it without a doubt. That is when you are truly born again and are nurtured on a daily basis by His unbelievable love.
The place where John finds himself is where God is on the ultimate throne. It lets you know where the concept of a throne originated. As we know, a king is one who is rich in many ways and loves to flaunt his power. God doesn't have to be humble because He has created everything. He is the ultimate designer of all things. John is about to enter the final place of the ultimate judgment seat, the ultimate courtroom where God pronounces judgment against sinners. He is about to peak into a place where the full complete presence and overwhelming Glory of God exists. Here John is experiencing the full power of the holiness of God that makes for a most humbling experience, in an environment in which one can only worship and praise in complete awe. We can only imagine what John must have felt at that time. If you've ever had an experience with the presence of God, then you have some idea. The experience with God that I speak of comes in many forms and ways, and this too, you will learn about in reading this book.
Now we know in a trumpet like voice in Revelation’s 4:1 NKJV God said, "Come up here.” John is called and chosen after being summoned by God to appear before Him. This was said all in one phrase. This is probably the single most important thing that John had ever done: receive and carry this vision to all of us. John actually heard the overwhelming voice of the only living God without any doubt. Immediately when you hear God's voice, you know who it is. When He wants your undivided attention, you will know that it is He. If you don't know, He invites you to question His call and test it. Don't worry God doesn't mind you of little faith questioning whether or not it is He who is calling you. "Wow!" is all I can say: to be in the presence of the only living God before death must be an awesome experience, especially on the level that John was in His presence.
