About the Book
One thought used to consume my mind: “Why am I so terrible at thriving in my role as a mom?” I would constantly beat myself up with accusations about inadequacy, lack of joy, comparisons, longing to do something else, feeling ineffective in life, screwing up my kids…so many accusations and thoughts.
All of that began to change when a wise woman gave me what I thought was a harmless challenge: Spend some time focusing on intimacy with the Holy Spirit.
That one simple act put a hole in the dam that had been holding back my freedom in motherhood for so many years. I wrote that journey down because I believe this same freedom is available for every mom who struggles.
