Day 25. 1 Samuel 18 to the end of 1 Samuel.
Saul is jealous of David and tries to kill him. David marries Michal, Sauls' daughter. Saul orders the death of David, but he escapes with the help of Michal, Jonathon, and the priest of Nob. Saul kills all the priests and all the people of Nob. One of the priests, Abiathar, escapes and joins David and his 600 men. David spares Sauls' life twice. Saul gives Michal to another man. David has 2 wives, Ahinoam, and Abigail. Ziklag is destroyed by who? The AMALEKITES! (see day 17) David recovers everything. Saul and Jonathon are killed in battle.

The son of Jesse Lee Hittle and Nancy Alice Triplett Hittle, who together raised 11 children. (6 boys and 5 girls) David married Ruth D. Taylor and raised 2 children. They enjoy 1 granddaughter and 1 great grandson. God has blessed our 48 years of marriage.
