It was then that I was able to place the shattered pieces in some form that made sense and that allowed my life to have some meaning again. I wish I could say this happened overnight or even a few weeks, but it was years before I was normal again. It took a lot of praying and pushing myself to move beyond the broken pieces by putting each piece back into its’ proper place. I was never the same as the original person I was before the brokenness, but I later learned that was a good thing. Just like any delicate thing that has been broken, it is never the same even though such care may have been taken to put it back together. God allowed all of the brokenness to take place so I could be the person He purposed me to be. I pray you make the most of your situation as well no matter how hard it seems so you can walk in your purpose and find peace along the journey as you allow the yokes to fall off your life.

Valarie F. Thomas was born and raised in Alabama. She is a registered professional nurse, educator, and an ordained evangelist with 24 years in ministry service. She enjoys writing and teaching about the Power of Prayer and Christian values.
She has a love for people and endeavors to make a difference in the lives of those whom she meets on a daily basis. It is through her pain that she is able to touch the lives of many and to let them know unapologetically about the love of God. God has called her to minister to women and to walk them through their pain into purpose.
