Day Twenty-five Go and Do Likewise
Luke 10:37 – “He answered, “The one who showed compassion and mercy to him.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go and constantly do the same.””
I collected all the necessary documents and knew I had a legal, winning case. A day or so before, I was saying to family members how I had forgiven the individual and was moving on. Yet, here I was, ready to move forward with the case.
I was in a room by myself working. As I opened a box, the Holy Spirit simply said to me; "If this were you, what would you want done?" The question stopped me dead in my tracks. I stood there, and said, "If this were me, I would want mercy shown to me." He simply said, "Go and do likewise." I fell to the floor weeping. His sweet spirit came over me and touched what was hurting most...my heart.
I don't know who needs mercy extended in your life today, but hear the words of the Holy Spirit, "Go and do likewise." Then, allow Him to meet you where your hurting most. He loves you!!

About the Book
Life as a woman and believer in Christ, has many challenges. I’m a Dakota Sioux native woman who lives and works on my home Indian reservation in northeast Montana. Being a minister and an elementary educator and college professor has it’s challenges. I decided to write about every day challenges and how we as women can rise to the woman warrior God has placed within us. This devotional comprises 40 days of living everyday life to inspire, encourage and empower women.

Rev. Valerie G. Boyd works and lives on her home Indian reservation in northest Montana. She is a minister with the Assemblies of God Fellowship, and has been in the field of education for over twenty years, teaching at elementary and secondary levels. In this devotional, Rev. Boyd writes about personal situations and challenges in every day life, and how women can rise to the woman warrior within. These daily devotionals provide inspiration, encouragement and spiritual growth as a woman and believer in Christ.
