It brought back to much hurt and confusion. Besides, she was Ruth Worden, whose family had owned this farm for four generations. Her father and grandfather had both been the local Blacksmith. Her grandfather had also been a deacon at the First Baptist Church. Her great grandfather had been one of the first to settle in this area of the green mountain state. She was from a proud heritage of hardworking, honest people; who were well known in these parts. No one here knew anything about what happened to her those years she was gone; and as far as she was concerned, they never would.

When she got back, she finally reconciled her relationship with God. But could she forgive herself? And now that everyone she loved was gone; how was she going to take care of everything on her own?
About the Author
The author is an ordained minister who has been called to minister to hurting women. Though originally from Vermont, she has lived in North Carolina for 30 years. Like the main character in the book, she has a past that she had to overcome.
