No matter what the day holds, God holds me
This came a few days before my dad passed from this life to heaven. My dad had always been so strong to me, tackling any task without complaining. He developed dementia in his later years and it was so hard to see him become a shell of himself. As Hospice told us he was transitioning, I felt this saying stir in my soul. It strengthened and carried me.
Be still and hear God’s heartbeat
Never-ending love and peace to me
Steady, steady never changing
Comfort, comfort it brings.
Rock of my salvation
A tower that can’t be moved
A song that keeps on singing
A love that keeps on giving
Surrounding me and strengthening me
No matter what I go through
Knowing that you are always with me
Helping me do what I need to do

About the Book
This is a collection of various journal entries over several years. They have encouraged me in times of uncertainty and comforted me in times of trouble. My prayer is that you will receive the same encouragement and comfort that I have and to realize that God is always with you, always speaking, always present no matter what you are facing.
About the Author
Susan Sudney has loved God all her life. From early on, she has been aware of His Loving Presence. Susan is happily married to the man of her dreams and has four adult boys. Both Susan and her husband Scott are involved in worship music and Susan is also an Associate Pastor in her Local Church body.
