Religion & Science Thoughts of a Common Jim

"I have many friends that are not Christian. They’ve had many questions about my religion and my faith. Over the years, I’ve tried to answer their questions to the best of my ability. I also found myself answering the same type of questions from friends who are Christians. In time, I started to write down these questions and my answers in an effort to find better explanations to answer their questions.

From these discussions, came this book."

"My answers came from what I have been taught, from what I have read from various sources, and from my own observations. My answers came from my walk through life with GOD."

"There is one constant when looking at Religion vs. Science debates. When dealing with unknowns, within their own arguments, both sides call these unknowns mysteries, and call the unknowns in the other’s arguments contradictions or worse."

"When I look at the two sides of these and similar issues I see two groups of people who are so deeply entrenched to want to hear the other side “you’re right and I was wrong” that they can’t hear what the other side is actually saying. Both seem to be saying “I’m right so why should I listen to you?” To make things worse, there are those on both sides that mock the other side for being “wrong.”

To me this is bad science, bad theology, and just plain bad behavior."
