About the Book

Franklin is a popular firefly from Missouri that quickly becomes an outcast when he is moved to Alaska, where there are no fireflies. He allows his circumstances to dictate his actions and emotions. He finds himself with the wrong crowd, doing things he wouldn’t think of doing and living in shame and fear of being caught. One night, his world is turned upside down, and he is reminded how important family really is.

About the Author

Beverly grew up in the hills of Missouri chasing fireflies on those warm summer evenings. She had to move several times a year so didn’t have many friends as a little girl. She currently lives in Missouri and teaches Sunday school. Her hearts desire is to help little ones grow in the Lord as well as in self confidence.
