So Mom and Dad have banned me to my room. They say I need time to think. I know what I think. They hate me and just don’t want me to have fun. Here I am, and they told me to write in this journal. How is writing in a journal going to help me anyway? I want out of here. Out of this family. Who else has to go to church and be locked in their room and not be allowed to date and well, not be allowed to do anything that is fun. Me! Just me!
When I can I am getting out of here …
this room, this house, this family, and yea, most of all church!

About the Author
After spending several years on the mission field working with teenagers, Wanda Lynn had a burden to share about intimacy with Jesus to young people. The teenage years were a difficult time for her as she was growing up, and she felt the need to write about being the Bride of Christ for teenagers. Wanda spent her time in Belize as a pastor of an Assemblies of God church and a counselor of a local high school, New Hope. Presently, Wanda lives in South Carolina where she spends her time speaking, counseling, and traveling. She also continues to return to Belize and to other countries to share her love for Jesus.
