Deborah- A Fearless Warrior

Judges 4:4-10

Deborah is basically a Biblical super hero. She was a judge, a prophetess, motivator, military strategist and a poet. She was an incredible warrior, on and off the battle field. Her inspirational speeches rallied troops to fight against insurmountable odds, and win! Her faith in God gave her the confidence to see through the most

difficult of battles with grace and purpose. The call on Deborah's life was huge, and she became one of the most influential people in the Bible. She did not allow fear to prevent her from being everything God had called her to be.It is easy to become overwhelmed when we see the magnitude of the calling,that God has placed on our lives. However, it is important to remember that God's call on our lives is progressive. It takes time to fulfill. Deborah was a middle-aged woman before all of this came to pass. You will have the training, experience and skills needs to fulfill your calling, when the time comes.

We have a habit of looking at ourselves through timid glasses. We see what is right in front of us, not what is beyond us. We see ourselves as unqualified, while God sees us very differently.

A year ago, I prayed and asked God to show me, how He sees me. He immediately told me I was strong, confident, and powerful. I have used strong to define myself over the years, but never confident or powerful. To see myself the way God saw me, changed my life. I realized the true power behind verses like Phil. 4:13. I

realized that I could do anything through Christ, and I was the only one holding me back.

Take a moment today and ask God, how he sees you, and let that define who you are.

“For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, says the Lord. Thoughts of peace

and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Jeremiah 29:11
