Are you chugging along in your Christian walk wondering, what happened? Do you feel more defeated as time goes on? So, come along and lets journey into holiness and have a look for ourselves. We are going to take a close look at God’s character, man’s nature, the need for holiness in the life of the believer, and why that is. Does the law have any purpose in the life of a believer today? Would we recognize holiness if we were staring right at it?
Well for the most part it doesn’t matter what one may think on the subject. What matters is what God’s Word says. In the church today we seem to accept just about anything a person might present as gospel. In our culture of tolerance it would appear any persons view of what the Bible says is as good as anyone else’s. But, is this true? Of course not. There still such a thing as absolute truth. It is not the frightful thing some would have us believe. But, it is the very thing that will set us free from sin and bondage. It will liberate the believer.
One might even find that it is not dull and boring, but the most exciting game in town

Dr. Shirley F. Thurman is a bible teacher and church leader who earned a doctorate of religious studies from Trinity Theological Seminary. She is an avid reader who loves to study God’s word. Shirley and her husband of fifty-plus years have three children, four grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and live in a small town in southern Nevada.
