Have you ever asked yourself any of those questions? Well, as a Christian and working in the education system you can’t vocally proclaim your Christ without being “politically incorrect.” As I mentioned before, wisdom must be employed, or you may experience legal ramifications for religious expression. We also want to exemplify professionalism, especially as Christians because we represent Christ and want to operate as He would…. showing love and kindness. This book proposes to share some scriptures and prayers as they pertain to various situations you may encounter during the school year. It is with the understanding of the origin and nature of the various influences in the educational setting that this book is being written. It is also with the expectation that it be used to decisively address the specific areas needing prayer so that our students receive all from us that God has intended. It is the intention that the teacher, administrator, parent and other reader of this book use the suggested prayers and scriptures provided as inspiration, guidance and support in each person’s endeavor to effectively help their peers, students or child and as necessary, themselves.

About the Book
This book will provide a daily excerpt of prayer to address every area and facet of the school environment no matter the age group. This book is written to be enjoyed by educators, parents, education leaders, and even community members. These prayers will positively set the tone for the daily educational experience.
About the Author
The author has a wealth of experience in the education system at various levels. This experience ranges from the elementary student level to adults. She has a B.A. with a major in Spanish. The author also obtained her Master of Education degree, majoring in Administration and Supervision. She holds certifications in Elementary Education, English as a Second Language as well as a Principal’s Certification. She was inducted into the Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society and was selected as one of the participants to chair round table discussions on partnering educational training between the university and school levels in the Leaders for Teacher Preparing Schools (LTPS) & National Network for Educational Renewal at the University of Washington Bothell Education. Among the various positions held, the author has been a union representative, teacher, Coach/Facilitator and Chairperson for School Management/Community Teams. The author currently attends Epic Church International in New Jersey where she is an Elder and volunteers in several of the church’s ministries. She is a Volunteer Chaplain and a minister with Covenant Ministries, International. She and her daughter are also the founders of Faith Arise Ministries, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization.
