Walking Hand-in-Hand with Jesus

(Introduction) "Over the years as I fellowship with my heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ, and with other Believers, my love for Christ and His church has grown. It is as though God had brought me back to the Garden of Eden, walking with Him in the cool of the day, being refreshed by His presence..."When I take walks with the younger grandchildren, they usually hold my hand. It assures them that I am with them. Walks down new and unfamiliar paths can be a bit scary. If they trip over an obstacle in the path, my grip tightens, preventing them from falling. Most of all, is during a time of childish independence, they let loose of my hand and tend to wander too far from me."

(Chapter 2) "Because of His resurrection, the power of sin was broken. Sin no longer has power over us and we walk in the newness of life. This newness of life refers to a new kind of life we are now able to live, one that is morally correct, one that is empowered by the divine life which has been imparted into us. We are no longer compelled to sin.
