About the Book
Pearlescent the Pearl was created with the idea that God can take our pain and shape something of beauty out of it. When I began to study the life of a pearl and how it was created out of adversity, I wanted to get that idea across for children to see. Thus, the book shows God can create something good from our tough times. The book also directs the reader to the creative workmanship of God through nature and how a pearl is formed.
About the Author
Joy is a wife and mother, Master Esthetician, life coach, singer and a lover of anything creative. She can be found in her home studio either writing, singing, drawing and painting or creating her natural shea butter skin care cremes. Her dream to write and produce children’s picture books was inspired by raising her son Jaron and doing kids things with him: splashing in mud puddles, building mud pies, finding pictures in the sky and just loving nature.
