Hold on to what you know
Key Verse: 2 Kings 2:17
Elisha had just experienced one of the greatest miracles which was foretold by Elijah. With this miracle he was in line to receive the blessing of a double portion. However, when he returned to civilization people tried to convince him that his experience was fake and Elisha caved in to peer pressure robbing him the joys of the most exciting time in his life. I began sharing my faith journey with a young lady as it relates to the provision of God during the building of our home. She couldn’t understand the whole God thing or the faith thing. In the process of our conversation, she tried to convince me that all that occurred was luck or coincidence. There are many persons who will try to talk you out of your “God experience” because it makes them uncomfortable, it makes them jealous or they are trying to disqualify your anointing.
Like Elisha, they try to convince us that it never happened. The truth is an experience is personal. Let no man talk you out of what you have experienced. Hold on to what you know and what glory has been revealed. No one but you knows the level of investment you have made in the kingdom and no one but you know what God has done. Let no man deceive or distract you hold on to what you know and what you have experienced.
Prayer—Father help us to not allow the thoughts of others to influence your work in our lives. Help us to hold on to what we know in you. Help us to trust what heaven says over the multitude of men. In Jesus name Amen

About the Book
Heart of a Servant Royally Positioned was deposited on my journey through the process to the promise. It is through this journey that the Lord revealed that pride has no place in the heart of someone trying to attain what God has for them. The only way to the promise is through humility, and so the journey started to become royally positioned. This devotional is for the person who knows they are going somewhere but needs to be positioned by God.
About the Author
Minister Tresia Daniel has been involved in various aspects of ministry for more than two decades. She has served as Youth President, Women President, Worship Leader, Evangelism Coordinator, Christian Education Officer and Deaconess inter Alia. She presently serves as the Christian Education Officer for the Wesleyan Holiness Churches in St Kitts, Nevis and Saba and regularly preaches in her local church (Wesleyan Holiness Church- Newcastle) as well as various churches throughout St Kitts and NEVIS. Minister Daniel also has a passion for marriages and with her husband is heavily involved in marriage counselling and facilitating sessions on marriages for churches of various denominations. Minister Daniel is a self employed Human Resources Consultant and owns and manages Melange Services which has been responsible for conducting training sessions in St Kitts and NEVIS. Tresia is happily married to her husband Rev. Ron Daniel and they have three sons ages 8 (twins) and 5. Minister Daniel prefers to be known simply as a servant of Almighty God.
