Here is the thing about timing. What I asked of the Lord in 2015 was in His will from the moment I asked. It is His great pleasure to give unto me the desires of my heart, but not at that time...in those places...with those individuals...or with that version of Teresa. I am embarrassed to admit it, but as I think back, I did not have what it took to possess what I dreamed. I did not have the wherewithal to love or be loved the right way. Now that I am older, wiser, stronger, softer, not so inhibited, not so needy and not so afraid, do I have what it takes this time? Do I have the audacity to hope on the level of those supplications again? Or do I find something easier to attain? That is to be seen, but I am clear that I do not want to breach a portion of my inheritance because of my unbelief.

About the Author
Teresa K. Page is the author of “My Journey to Wholeness: The Sojourn Continues”. After four transformative years since its release in 2015, she resumes with the title series, which endures to capture significant life experiences and lessons learned in pursuit of self-discovery. Still creating a space in the Atlanta Metropolitan, Page persists to serve her spheres of impact as an avid writer and Dean of higher education.
