As I prepare to share this testimonial based on my true life and death experience entitled," I Died But I Am Alive Today," I do it with a grateful heart, while yet rejoicing that God breathed new breath into my body and I am a living, walking miracle. This testimonial goes in depth on the details about me receiving a second chance to live life here again on earth. My heart has been enlightened even more that we -- the people here on this earth -- take it for granted that we will live forever, not knowing how quickly within a moment we could die! It happened to me. We often hear of the quote, “Here today, die tomorrow.” The question now becomes -- are we ready, and have we prepared for our eternal life after death? Do we even believe there is an afterlife? When life’s unexpected emergencies arise, are we ready to communicate to our Lord to ask for mercy and grace to help us get through the unexpected circumstances? Are you able to get a prayer through even if you can't pray out loud but in your mind? Are you comfortable in your Christian faith that God will hear you and answer you during your emergency? As you continue to read this book I will testify; the questions asked will be clearly answered. There will be no question about God’s faithfulness and goodness; He always hears us and answers our prayers.

I ask that you read this publication with an open mind and heart. Prepare yourself to receive the knowledge and wisdom that God is real, and he is still performing miracles every day. I can attest to it because I am a living and walking MIRACLE.
This is 2018 and we are currently living in times where our faith is being tested and tried on a daily basis (i.e., health, marriages, politics, families, finances, etc.). I wrote this book to encourage your hearts and to testify that God is still in control of all things, including, but not limited to, life and death situations.

About the Book
I Died: But I Am Alive Today! recounts the miraculous healing of Alise F. Davis when her heart and breathing stopped for a short time. The unexplainable, life-changing event—also partly chronicled by her husband, Joseph Davis Jr—describes the scenario in detail. Alise’s passion for life intensified after this medical event until her unexpected departure on June 30, 2018.
About the Author
Alise F. Davis was a vibrant, loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother who opened her heart and home to many friends and family members, showing them the love of Christ and encouraging them with her great cooking, love for life and happy persona. She was a strong Christian who loved the Bible, attended church regularly and shared God's Word at every opportunity. She loved to travel, and was also known for her polished, attractive appearance. Her passion for helping others poured out of her wherever she went, including her tenure as an Executive Administrator, and later, as a Paralegal. She leaves behind a loving legacy - her husband, Joseph Davis Jr, and her children Tiffany Davis, Stephan Tucker, Jolina F. Rainer, and Joseph Davis III, their spouses and children.
