The Good News is about His character.
The Bad news is about our character.
The Glad News is how His character compassionately merges with our character.
Incredibly, our merciful God is also a ‘forgetful’ God. For every one of his children who comes before Him with “…a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart…” (Psalm 51:17), He promises to “…be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more… ‘’ (Hebrews 8:12)
Well may the Accuser roar of sins that I have done. I know them all, and thousands more, Jehovah knoweth none. That’s ‘Gooder’ News! . . . a celestial ‘memory lapse’ encouraging us to get back up each time we fall.
My heartfelt prayer is that we meet above someday and, while down here you . . . unlike Freddy . . . may become “too soon smart and too late old.”
Wisdom for Eternity Travelers addresses spiritual battles Christians fight, not the horrors of wars fought on battlefields. Having served in the USMC during the Vietnam era, I was among those fortunate to return home alive, and without the physical and mental scars many of my brothers and sisters in arms suffered. My heart goes out to them.
In honor and respect to all those who have bravely fought and paid dearly for the freedom we all enjoy as Americans, all proceeds from this book will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project.

A diverse collection of wisdom snippets and inspirational quotes with Alaskan photographs and musings of a Been There – Seen That – sometimes wish I hadn’t – Done That prodigal son.
“I am not what I ought to be.
I am not what I want to be.

And, by the grace of God, I am what I am.”
This quote was penned by John Newton, a former slave ship captain who, after meeting his Savior, would give us the beloved hymn Amazing Grace. His quote echoes my heart’s song... another redeemed, work-in-progress prodigal son traveling towards Eternity.
