About the Book
A casual friendship charges headlong into romance, tossing long-held traditions and family secrets aside in its wake. Is their love worth what it might cost?
When pride shatters loyalty, when reputation is threatened, when abuse has left a victim, when heartbreak has overwhelmed a soul, or when a lonely heart just needs acceptance, then what, how, and most of all, why?
About the Author
Patricia Lincoln was born in Independence, MO and, with the exception of some college time, has lived in Missouri all of her life. She now resides near Joplin, MO.
She and her late husband Roy met in High School at age 16 and were inseparable for 58 years. They have two daughters, seven grandchildren and, currently, sixteen ‘greats’.
Now retired, her professional career included office manager for ministries and businesses owned by she and Roy -- and sole-caretaker of infants and children in her own day-care during the 1960s. The Lincolns helped establish a long-term-care facility, Spring River Christian Village, in Joplin in the 1980s and Pat has served on the steering committee since that time.
Pat has previously written and printed an unpublished book of memoirs and essays entitled “Confessions of a Pilgrim” and a small narrative called “Parabuls” as well as several women’s Bible studies.
