Kimberly Weaver is an elementary school teacher, U.S. Navy veteran, freelance writer, children’s author and poet. Her book, Twinkle, Twinkle, Christmas Star is the second book in the Remmy Adventure series. Like her father, she loves storytelling and has always had a flare for writing, but her passion blossomed after suffering the loss of her parents. She claims that writing gave her an outlet to grieve which in turn transformed into a celebration of new beginnings for her.

She has three grown children, Kristen, Carin, and Buck. Even though they are chasing after their own dreams, she remains a dedicated mom and their number one cheerleader. She continues to encourage her children and her students to reach for their dreams, to use failures and setbacks as stepping stones, rather than stumbling blocks, in order to get closer to turning their dreams into reality. She currently serves as a third grade teacher at Elolf Elementary School in Converse, Texas and resides in New Braunfels, Texas with her dog and adventure seeking rat.
