From chapter 3 mid way down on the 1st. page "There is a parallel(to Ex. 34:5-7) in Matt. 17 at the mount of transfiguration. There in the fullness of the New Covenant in Jesus, the subject is His glory and the goodness of His cross. Nowhere in the whole Hebrew Bible is there such a plain spoken and full telling of God's person as these passages in Exodus 33, and 34. Until we come to the New Covenant fulfillment in Christ, the fullest disclosure of His Name, there is simply nothing like it in it's breath and grandeur. Wonderfully, the same glory we see in Exodus is reflected in the face of Jesus Christ.(II cor. 4:6)

About the Book
Beginning nearly 4,000 years ago with Abraham and running through all the patriarches into the kings and on to the prophets, is a singular word with profound ramifications. Hesed or checed. On his way to Wyoming to to try to start his life over again, the author heard a song by Steven Curtis Chapman. From Steven's liner notes he discovered this word in Ps. 143 and then and there God began his startover. This word about covenant/ steadfast Love, especially when God links it with the Hebrew word for Truth, is wonderfully fulfilled in Jesus Christ. So now as time went on he began to see a very plain pathway through what was up ahead for America: a great repentance/revival or judgement and a very great destruction. This book is prickly and a bit rowdy, but it rings very true.
About the Author
Since his conversion out from the flower children movement and on through Bible School training and into pastoring, the author has met with much success and also failure. In God’s hands he now regards the latter as a better companion and teacher than the former. Rob Jackson writes of a reality that he has seen and heard.
