When you get caught lying, you’ve had it. Sometimes it hurts to tell the truth, but down the road it will always get you noticed for your integrity. That’s what will get you the customers you wanted or maybe a special friend. It will open doors for you.
My first wife, bless her heart, used to tell me sometimes that I was too honest when I did business. But I did not have to think what I might have said to the customers earlier. I just told them the truth. Truth, I thought, made me sleep better at night and it wasn’t confusing.

About the Book
I started writing this book in Columbus, Ohio, at a mortarboard club meeting with Martha when she was at ULM (University of Louisiana at Monroe). She liked the first article, so I started writing some more. She like them all!
About the Author
Patrick Henry Anderson was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on March 17, 1938. He grew up in West Monroe and Monroe, Louisiana. Patrick graduated from Neville High School in Monroe and attended Southwestern La State College in Lafayette, Louisiana, and Northeast LA State College in Monroe. Patrick married John Ann Painich (deceased) and has three children. He also married Martha Jane Burns Upshaw Anderson (deceased). He currently resides in West Monroe, Louisiana.
