Ellie agreed to break my water. When she did that at four that afternoon, my contractions started to come every four minutes and continued to increase in strength. During this whole time, my baby didn’t move a lot, but her heartbeat was strong, so the nurses didn’t worry about her not moving. I didn’t think too much about it either since the baby was about to be delivered.
Time seemed not to matter, but time was the only thing that would continue in a normal fashion after the delivery of our baby. It was the last twelve-hour period in my life that the word normal as we knew it could describe. Before that, our lives had been void of tragic disaster.
Russ and I didn’t know that that was the beginning of a chapter in our lives that would change forever how we saw ourselves. Coming was the pinnacle point that would carve out the place in life God meant for us to be, if we chose to follow his Word and have faith in his plan for our lives.

About the Book
Baby Victoria was born at six o’five in the morning on Sandra and Russ Bearor’s fourth anniversary. They didn’t know it was the beginning of a chapter in their lives that would forever change how they saw themselves. Coming was the pinnacle point that would carve out the place in life God meant for them if they chose to follow his word and have faith in his plan for their lives.
In When Jesus Carried Me, Sandra tells a true story of the greatest of loves, the worst kind of loss, and how she survived the everyday pain of sorrow by the power, love, and grace of the Lord. This memoir, presented in journal format, shares the grief and sadness the family experienced when Victoria died at birth.
Sandra chronicles how she grew as a person, a wife, and a mom, as she explains with a direct line through the Holy Spirit, the hurt, heartache, and the peace the Lord shared with her. She discusses her journey, with a newfound understanding and healing, to help others find discernment in a world no one should have to live through.
About the Author
Sandra Bearor’s first priority is to God, her husband and children, but her interests are many and there is nothing that has ever been unattainable in her heart. Being of a shy, quiet personality the goal of becoming an author is something God is working within her to make it a desire of her heart. She and her husband Russ are the proud parents of eight children, seven here and one in heaven.
