Hi, my name is George Franks. I’m a turkey.
I’d like to introduce you to some of my friends:
Raymond — raccoon
James — mouse
Mariah — mouse
NikiAnna — groundhog
Remington — bear
Cornelius — lamb
Mwangea (Bo) — beaver
J’Emma — grasshopper
We don’t always get along but we have a lot of fun together and we learn about each other as we spend more time together. We also learn that we can help each other in different situations with God’s help.

About the Book
George and his friends are all animals who do many of the same things children do. Use your imagination to figure out how these friends do the things they do.
About the Author
Kathy grew up as the fourth child and the first daughter in a family of thirteen children, all with the same mother and father. Her mom told her her first bed was a dresser drawer because she was so small when she was born! There were a lot of fun times, a lot of crazy times, and a lot of time to be the older sibling and help others in the family through numerous trials and enjoyments. She was a pretty good pogo-stick jumper, learned how to ride a bike from her older brothers, learned to play the piano, and played the tuba in marching band during high school. She has taught and continues to teach Sunday School for over forty years. Her experiences during those years and as a wife (of forty years and counting) and mother of three now-adult children gave her life lessons that will hopefully be passed down for years to come.
