"It is important to remember that sometimes sadness can be a good thing because we can learn from our sadness." said Wise Owl. "But Wise Owl, what is good about being sad? I don't think sadness is a good thing." said Timothy rabbit.
"I know it is hard but think about it. Did you learn anything when the other rabbits teased you?" asked Wise Owl.
"Well, I guess I didn't like feeling that way so I don't want to ever do that to someone else or make anyone feel like I did. Is that what you mean Wise Owl?" asked Timothy.

About the Author
Linda Drager is a lifelong lover of learning. She is a retired teacher who spent more than thirty years in both the public school and university systems. Through her years of teaching, she encountered people with various backgrounds and experiences. The life lessons that were exchanged through these relationships helped shape the concept for this story. One of the items on her bucket list is to publish a children’s book. She is passionate about young children and hopes to ensure that they have the tools they need to become healthy adults. Linda lives with her husband in Tennessee and has two sons, two daughters-in-love, and four beautiful grandchildren. She enjoys researching genealogy, traveling, playing golf, reading, and sharing good wine with friends.
