How To Become An Invincible Warrior

We can approach the spiritual in a prepatory manner or a reactive manner. I have spent most of my life in the reactive. For example, when my truck won't start I'm calling God "please, please God let it start". To approach the spiritual in a prepatory manner requires a continuous walk with God. To pray in the spirit on all occasions: Ephesians 6:18. We must be in constant communication with God, so we can know what to pray for before it becomes a reactive matter. To have a real and close relationship with anyone requires time, honesty and a desire to please that someone more than yourself. Just think about that last statement and ask yourself if its true. The one thing in this world that we have the most influence over is ourselves. We like to complain about everything from people to politics, to health issues, but our influence over any of these kinds of things is very limited. I heard a guest speaker in my church say one time when I was young "nobody can make you mad. You have to choose to be mad". That statement changed the course of my life I'm sure. We can't always change our surroundings or the events that take place around us, but we can change how we react to them.
