In the Old Testament book of Isaiah, God says, "Do not be afraid, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by your name. You are mine." This is such a comfort to me, to know that God will never forget me because he has saved me and he knows my name because I matter to him. Isaiah 43, verse 1
I will not forget you. See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands. Isaiah 49, verses 15 +16
Prayer: Father God, I often get confused over names, dates and places, and it bothers me. Thank-you that when I read that passage I can be reassured that I am remembered by you and known as yours. Amen.

About the Book
This book aims to remind and encourage people to read the Bible and pray every day.
About the Author
The author, Anne Hayward, (born in 1943), became a Christian as a child of 7, and grew to love reading her Bible and praying regularly. She trained as a nurse, has taught Sunday school since her early teens, and currently teaches on a rota basis at her local church, Holy Trinity, Hinckley. For many years she was a Speaker for Mothers’ Union.
Most of her life has been spent caring for children at playgroups or the Elderly, when she worked for a few years in a Care Home and as a Warden in a sheltered housing scheme, gaining valuable experience in helping Early Dementia Residents. Subsequently, she cared for her Mother-in-law who had Vascular Dementia: this prompted her to write a booklet of prayers and simple Bible stories (from which this book has evolved), and found it beneficial as an aid to remind her of well-loved Bible passages. Anne’s first husband was disabled for over 20 years, and in that time she trusted God to be her strength and helper daily. Anne has 3 daughters, 2 Granddaughters and 3 Great-Granddaughters, and has been married to Clive since September, 2012.
