Balm in Gilead

The prophet Jeremiah asks, “Is there no balm in Gilead? Is there no physician there?” Yes, Jeremiah there is balm in Gilead to make the wounded whole as the old hymn goes.

This devotional is balm for wounded hearts. Those wounded hearts who wonder at times, is God really there? Does God really care?
