Over and over again people have asked me why I was interested in studying the Feasts of the Lord. Some people believe that as Christians, we no longer need to study the Old Testament because they say the New Testament has replaced it. Such statements show a lack of knowledge about the fact that God’s plan for our salvation through Yeshua Jesus is hidden in the ancient feasts. If we don’t understand the feasts and God’s appointed times as “dress rehearsals” of what is to come in the future, we truly can’t understand the New Testament and what Yeshua Jesus was telling us.

About the Book
This book describes how Messiah fulfilled the spring feasts of the Lord at his first coming and how he will fulfill the fall feasts when he returns to earth at his second coming. It also discusses the importance of the Sabbath, the ancient Jewish wedding, the millennial reign, the marriage supper of the Lamb, and the Sabbath rest.
About the Author
Dr. Sylvia Held has many years of experience as a teacher, researcher, program developer, and clinician in the field of Psychology. She has won academic Awards and Honors, and has been a speaker on several national television and radio programs. She is an ordained pastor and a born-again believer in Jesus as her Lord and Savior. She is a frequently requested speaker in her church community. Dr. Held has been studying the Torah for the past five years on-line through El Shaddai Ministries in Tacoma,Washington. Without having been introduced to the inspired teachings of Pastor Mark Biltz and Messianic Rabbi Jonathan Cahn, and others, this book would never have been written.
