“Well, are you going to sit there all night?” scolded Laurel as she crawled into her sleeping bag. Little Lottie stomped past Laurel and snapped, “I’m sleeping right here!” whirling her body onto the hammock. Sure you will, grinned Laurel as she snuggled up against her pillow. Within a few minutes, thunder rumbled in the distance. Little Lottie bolted up like a shot of lightning!

About the Book
Laurel Lea is upset about having her little sister, Lottie, tag along on her camping adventure with Nana and Pops. But when Pops pulls out his book of scary stories from his bib overalls, something happens! What is it? Will it cause them to fight more, or will it draw them together?
About the Author
Dianne is a story waiting to happen. She believes there is a redeeming story in every life experience. Glimpses of God are clearly seen as she wanders in the woods, climbs the mountains, soars the skies, skims the waters, stares with wonder at a starry night, to the simple delights of hearing her six grandies gurgling with a gust of giggles as they romp on her big ol’, non-feather bed! This is Dianne’s second book. Her first book, Sleep in Peace, features a bedtime prayer and landscape paintings by gifted, local artists.
The illustrations are a collaboration of Sharon Koontz and her 15 year old talented daughter, Piper.
Sharon is an artist based out of Mexico, Missouri where she owns a Studio Gallery, Color Me Bleu. Piper is following in her mother’s footsteps creating a look of her own with the ability to create characters with markers and ink. This budding duo plans to do many more books in the future!
