Hearts Condition

According to Romans 10:9, once you confess your sins to God and believe in Jesus Christ, that He rose from the dead, you will be saved. You are no long the same person as you put your faith into action. You are now no longer the same person. You must forget the past and press on towards a better future, Paul in the New Testament talks about forgetting the past, he pressed on.

A great explorer, Christopher Columbus set sail to come discover a new land. Columbus had to leave behind the past comforts and change his way of thinking to discover something new Leaving your past is not always easy. Most people go through their entire life never totally fulfilling their God given purpose. Why because most people like living in the safe zone, which is the comfort zone. Most people are afraid to take a risk and try something new. When Christopher Columbus left his country to discover America, not everyone supported his dreams. Not everyone got into the boat with Columbus to go across the ocean and discover something new. Most of the people of his day, thought he was crazy for leaving the comforts of his home, the shores of his home land to discover something new. Christopher Columbus said this, “You can never cross the ocean until you have the courage to lose sight of the shore.” And yes, Columbus took that risk and left the shores of comfort, to risk unchartered waters. To take a risk and cross oceans and seas, face winds and storms, and then to discover a new land now called America, took great faith. Another famous quote by Helen Keller, “Life is either a great adventure or nothing”. Accepting Christ into your life takes faith in action!
