My never-ending theme is to give God all the glory because with Him all is possible. He’s given me the ability to write poetry, and I am giving back the gift to anyone I can. All is possible through Christ, and through Him we can achieve anything. He is the only answer to all our problems; all we have to do is ask. This book is a poetic summary of biblical stories from Genesis to Ruth. When you read, you will understand I have not taken away the message the Father has given us in His holy Word. This is another tool to be used to spread His message to others, to be fishers of humans with the gift God has given. After all, that is what we should do. Help others find Jesus; help others in their journey to God. I hope this book does that for you. You will find between each book of the Bible different styles of poems, but all reflect upon a journey to Christ. These pieces have a personal touch with my journey, my spin, my feelings and emotions. The Bible I used as a reference was the King James Version, but if you enjoy reading a different translation, then do so. The mission is to have you read God’s words in a translation you enjoy reading. As long as you read four pages per day, you can read His words in one year. Our heavenly Father is amazing. He wants the best for all of us. He wants us to go to heaven with Him when He comes again. Love Him, obey Him, honor Him, praise Him, and watch the blessing pour in. Bless you all. Amen.

About the Book
In this book, you will find poetry based on stories in the Bible—poems of prayer, haikus, life, Satan, and love. If you are a poetry lover and enjoy reading God’s words such as myself; both are in this book. This book could serve as another tool for you to study God’s Word and provide a new, fresh, and innovative way of understanding his word through poetry. Each title of poetry reflects a biblical story, such as “The Biblical Superman” taken from the book of Judges, “12 Stones and a Prostitute” taken from the book of Joshua, and many more. There are poems about Lucifer called “He Made Me Do It”—a new twist on the old term “the devil made me do it.” There are inspirational pieces to aid in reflecting upon life as we all grow with God. With each poem, there are thought-provoking questions which may relate the poem to your life or questions you might have during your biblical studies. As you read his Words more and appreciate all his wonderful love, the more you will grow and realize we are all God’s children. Stay blessed.
About the Author
LaMar is a Christian who believes no matter what your denomination we all serve a mighty God. Jesus sacrificed and died for all of us. A veteran of the US Air Force and current Fire Code Inspector and lover of poetry. LaMar started writing poetry at a young age to relieve stressful situations. In this process LaMar found himself writing words to honor God with the gift given to him. This book is one of many poems as a result. LaMar offers this opportunity to share with others his gift, as it was given to him; to be a fisher of humans.
