About the Book
Derek James’s first collection of poetry comprises contemplative free-verse poems with vivid imagery and multiple layers of duality. While each poem maintains its independence, the sequence of the collection unfolds a short tragic love story between Sophia (wisdom) and Adam (mankind) that draws reflections from Christian themes.
About the Author
Derek James is a Christian and British national of Nigerian descent. He started writing poetry at an early age and, after several years developing his craft, has honed his unique style of free verse contemplative poetry.
